Lahaina Kaanapali Railroad 1.5 hour round-trip

Starting from $22.49 per person

With a blast of its steam whistle, the locomotive chugs along at a leisurely pace on this scenic train tour. During your train ride, you will cross a curved wooden trestle for panoramic views of neighboring islands and the West Maui Mountains.

During your journey, a narrator will entertain you Hawaiian-style and point out sites of interest along the way. From December to April, it is a common to spot humpback whales frolicking in the warm Pacific waters.

For more than 100 years, Hawaii's sugar trains hauled sugar cane to the mills, and transported workers between their homes and the cane fields. Steam locomotives became a picturesque part of the Hawaiian landscape, sounding their haunting whistles as they rounded a mountain curve and plowing along narrow-gauge tracks between fields of sugar cane.

Although the sugar-cane fields are now gone, the Lahaina Kaanapali Railroad keeps on rolling, preserving Maui's rich sugar-cane heritage.

West Maui Snorkeling and Turtle Watch Cruise 2 hours

Starting from $68.79 per person

Enjoy an afternoon snorkeling the West Maui coral reefs from a catamaran. Leap into the sea from the water trampoline, slip down the slide or simply enjoy the sun on the open upper deck as you cruise the Hawaiian waters.

Avoiding the crowds by departing Lahaina instead of Ma'alaea Harbor, you will head straight to the West Maui coral reefs for an afternoon of water activities. The clear blue waters surrounding Maui are home to some of the world's most spectacular coral reefs.

Make use of the onboard snorkel equipment and dive into the ocean to explore the underwater world. The area is well known for its abundance of marine life, so be on the lookout for the locals. In particular, green turtles are often a popular visitor to the reefs in this area.

Alternatively, have fun bouncing on the water trampoline, leaping high into the air before diving into the clear blue Hawaiian waters. Or maybe you'd prefer to slip down the water slide and make a splash as you plunge into the sea.

Soda and fruit juice are included throughout the cruise; however, alcoholic drinks are an additional cost (cash bar available).

If you are looking for a quick and easy snorkeling experience, this cruise aboard the most stable catamaran in Maui is for you.

Maui Atlantis Submarine Adventure 2 hours

Starting from $102.99 per person

After a 15-minute trip to the dive site, you will board an Atlantis Submarine, the world's first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine. On your 45-minute underwater adventure you’ll see coral reefs and marine creatures.

To enhance your submarine experience, and help improve the marine environment, an artificial reef was created in December 2005. An aged replica of a 19th-century supply vessel was anchored to the sandy sea floor in an area that was devoid of coral reef. The resulting artificial reef is developing into a self-sustaining habitat for indigenous fish, coral and other marine life.

From December through May, you may enjoy whale watching during the ship-to-shore journey as humpback whales make their annual migration through the warm Pacific waters.
