Enjoy Juno Beach Park and Juno Beach Pier

Of course, one of your first stops has got to be Juno Beach Park, a 5.25-acre beachfront park that provides visitors with a great place to enjoy the seaside. Not only does the park offer beach access where you can lie out in the sun and soak up the rays, but you can even bring your favorite four-legged friend to bask in the sun alongside you! Juno Beach Park is incredibly dog-friendly.

 

Additionally, anyone who loves to fish will appreciate the Juno Beach Pier. Before you start your day of fishing, you can head to the pier’s bait shop to get all of the supplies you need. This shop also offers pole rentals. And you won’t even have to leave when you get hungry! The Juno Beach pier also has a snack bar.

Walk the Juno Dunes Natural Area

The Juno Dunes Natural Area is another great natural area to spend some time at while visiting Juno Beach, Florida. This natural area offers 42 acres for visitors to explore, including multiple different ecosystems, from tidal swamps to pine flatwoods and coastal dunes.

 

During your visit, spend some hiking on the park’s trails and don’t forget your binoculars! Juno Dunes West is especially great for birdwatching since it goes through a wetland area.

Visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center

A great thing about visiting Juno Beach, Florida is that all of these awesome activities are located close to one another, so you can easily visit them all on the same day! The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is located just down the street from Juno Beach. This center rescues and rehabilitates wild sea turtles in the area.

 

During your visit, you can register for several different tour experiences. If you want to experience the center as a whole, you might consider the venue’s guided tour that takes place each day of the week at 12PM. This tour costs $20 per person. If you plan on visiting with a group of at least eight people, you can also register for a private tour ($22 per person).

 

In addition to these tours, you can learn about the rescue and release of sea turtles in a virtual reality experience. This costs $5 per person and takes place twice per day, once at 1PM and once at 3PM. If you have young kids, they might also be interested in attending a kid’s paint class, which takes place on Thursday and is great for kids aged 3 to 8.
