While Pink Sand Clearwater Beach, Florida may not exist, that doesn’t mean you can’t have an excellent time visiting the Florida coast. Maybe you even consider bringing a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses to give the illusion of pink sand during your trip?

Below we cover some of the top things to do in Clearwater Beach — and we think they’re fun enough that you’ll enjoy them even without any pink sand in sight.

Visit Clearwater Beach

Of course, if you’re looking for sand, there’s no better place to find it than at Clearwater Beach. This beach is known for its clear waters (wonder where the beach got its name, huh?) and warm white sands.

While walking the coast, don’t forget to drop in at Pier 60, a 1,080-foot pier located right by the beach. You can fish off the side of the pier (just make sure you have a Florida fishing license) or catch a beautiful sunrise or sunset. You may even get your fill of pink by watching the beautiful rosy clouds that surround the sunset!

Walk the beach and see if you can find some beautiful shells. Alternatively, bring a good book and watch the waves crash into the shore as you daydream about sands that look just a little more colorful than the ones that surround you.
